Profile:
Eoin is proud to reveal that his family’s direct association with Western Australia goes beyond 1837 when his great, great Grandmother, Elizabeth Oxley, was born in Perth; a mere 8 years after the foundation of the Swan River Colony. Elizabeth married English immigrant, and Police Inspector, William Piesse; they lived in Northam and produced no less than 12 children!

The next generation of the Piesse family opened general stores in Williams, Arthur River and Wagin to service the pioneer farmers. In the 1880’s during the construction of the Beverly to Albany railway, Frederick Piesse set up mobile supply depots along the line. His final depot became the origin of the town of Katanning and the Central Station for the Perth to Albany railway line. Apart from building Katanning Flour Mill, Katanning Hotel and ‘Koobelya House’, the Piesse family built the south west’s first commercial distillery. Under the management of a German-born wine-maker Carl Bungert, their wines received gold medals in London and Paris.

Over the next few generations the family tree is dotted with prominent Western Australian politicians, veterans of both World Wars, well renowned doctors, Farmers, and an Olympian!

Eoin was born in Subiaco and grew up in the Nedlands family home his parents, Colin and Kathleen, owned for 35 years in Stanley Street. In 1976 after 12 years at Christ Church Grammar School, Eoin spent the next 20 years in mining, transport and agriculture before picking real estate as a long term career path in 1996.

Eoin graduated as a Real Estate and Business Agent in 2006 and he holds a current License and Triennial Certificate. Using his acquired knowledge, experience, and the ongoing training associated with being a Licensed Real Estate Agent Eoin is in a position to offer a superior service when listing and handling your property.

Testimonials

Eoin is proud to reveal that his family’s direct association with Western Australia starts in 1829 when his great, great, great Grandparents, John and Mary Chipper arrived in Fremantle on October 12th aboard the “Caroline”. The Chipper’s great great Grand-daughter, Margaret Mary Chipper, married Arnold Edmund Piesse, one of the eleven sons of William Roper Piesse and Elizabeth Oxley from Northam. One of Arnold and Mary’s daughters, Dorothy, married Dr Kenneth Aberdeen; their daughter Kathleen is Eoin’s mother!
